Green Peas with Fenugreek Leaves Curry (Methi Mutter Masala)

#Curry Methi and mutter are an amazing combination as their flavours compliment each other well. The combination of onion, cinnamon, almond and curd makes this dish rich, creamy and delicious! It can be enjoyed with any Indian bread.

Ingredient

boiled green peas

mint leaves

1 tbsp

curd

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Heat the oil in a deep pan and add the mustard seeds. Then put cloves, cinnamon stick onions and cook till it becomes light brown in colour. Add turmeric powder mix and keep aside for cooling. Put a little oil in the same pan and add chopped fenugreek leaves. Cook for 5 to 10 minutes stirring occasionally. Make puree of cooked onions, mint leaves, green chilli, coriander leaves, curd and almonds. Put this puree in the cooked fenugreek leaves.

* Step 2

Add the green peas, salt, chilli powder, turmeric powder, roasted coriander, and cumin powder cook for 5 minutes. Serve hot with chapati rice or roti.
