I found this sugar free recipe and decided to give it a try and make my own, they taste just as good as branded ones.

Ingredient

Food ration :

4 servings

Cooking time :

20-25 minutes
200 grams

oats

200 grams

wholemeal flour

140 grams

maple syrup

200 grams

unsalted butter

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Pre heat oven to 190/170 fan or Gas mark 5 & line 2 baking trays with baking parchment.

* Step 2

Add the flour, oats and baking powder to a bowl and mix together.

* Step 3

Add the butter to the bowl and mix together until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.

* Step 4

Add the maple syrup and mix until dough like. Wrap in cling film and chill for 1 hour.

* Step 5

Roll out the dough and cut to into desired circle size - makes up to 24 biscuits.

* Step 6

Place the biscuits on the lined trays and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and crisp.

* Step 7

Remove biscuits from oven and add to cooling rack. Once cooled enjoy :-)
