beef broth

black pepper

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Preheat oven to 400°.

* Step 2

Peel potatoes and dice very finely.

* Step 3

Sauté potatoes in 2 tablespoons butter in a heavy skillet about 7 minutes or until barely tender.

* Step 4

Add broth, salt and pepper and put into greased shallow baking dish.

* Step 5

Dot with remaining butter and sprinkle with cheese.

* Step 6

Bake until browned, about 35 minutes.
