Brown Rasgullas are only prepared in Odisha. Everywhere you must found white rasgullas but it's the speciality of Odisha where you can found the brown one. It is offered to lord Jagannath at Puri. Every get together in our family there must be Rasgulla as our dessert. Without this we feel everything is incomplete.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Heat the milk in a pan. After the starts boiling add the lemon juice.
* Step 2
When it curdles switch off the flame. The chhena must be soft.
* Step 3
Stain the chhena with the help of a clean cloth and wash it under the running water and hang it for about half an hour.
* Step 4
Then mash the chhena with the heel of your palm till it getting so soft and then add cardamom powder to it and mash for about 20minutes.
* Step 6
In a pot add 1tbsp sugar and put it on the stove. When it caramelized from the sides then add add water and remaining sugar.
* Step 7
When it boils add cardamom powder and the chhena balls to it. Cover it for about 7-8minutes in medium flame.
* Step 8
Your rasgullas are now ready. Serve hot or after cooling down.
