Chunky Red Velvet Crinkle Cookies

#cookpadturns2 Delicious cookie, if you love red velvet cake like me and are in a hurry to eat then these cookies are the perfect. Flavored with white chocolate chunks, these soft chewy simple to make cookies are worth drooling over

Ingredient

1/2 cup

Sugar

1 1/2 tablespoon

unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 tsp

Lemon juice

1/4 teaspoon

Salt

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Sieve flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt in a bowl and keep it aside

* Step 2

Blend sugar and butter in a bowl until light creamy and fluffy

* Step 3

Add egg and blend until creamy

* Step 4

Add lemon juice, vanilla extract and red food colouring. blend well

* Step 5

Gradually add the dry ingredients and blend until well combined

* Step 6

Add chopped white chocolate and fold in gently

* Step 7

Cover vessel with cling wrap and refrigerate for 2-3 hours

* Step 8

Take spoonful of dough and coat it with powdered sugar

* Step 9

Place them on prepared baking tray and gently flatten it slightly leaving 4-5 cm gap in between the cookies

* Step 10

Bake cookies for 10-12 minutes in preheated oven at 180 deg until they are cracked

* Step 11

Cool on baking tray for 25-30 minutes

* Step 12

Cool on wire wrack completely

* Step 13

Store in airtight container. Serve as required
