Lauki Nariyal Ladoos

#dussehra Vrat special Ladoos made from mix of Lauki and coconut

Ingredient

1/3 cup

milk

3-4 tbsp

ghee

3-4 tbsp

chopped nuts

1/4 teaspoon

cardamom powder

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Heat ghee in deep bottom vessel

Add grated lauki and mix well

Saute Lauki for 3-4 minutes

* Step 4

Add milk and mix well. Cook for 4-5 minutes

Add sugar and mix well. Cook for 4-5 minutes

Add food colouring and mix well. This is optional. This gives beautiful green colour to Laddu

Add cardamom and mix well. Cook until mixture becomes dry

Allow mixture to cool completely

Add nuts to mixture

* Step 10

Add desiccated Coconut 2-3 tbsp at a time and mix well. Do not add 3/4 cup in single go. Add as required

* Step 11

Grease palms and shape mixture into Laddos. Roll over desiccated Coconut, this is optional but it gives beautiful look and additional taste to Ladoos. Serve cold
