Lemon & Paprika Roast Chicken πŸ‹

Roast chicken makes a great midweek meal because you can just season it and pop it in the oven to cook while you are doing other things.

Ingredient

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Preheat the oven to 190 C

* Step 2

Drizzle the chicken with oil and sprinkle with paprika and salt. Cut the lemon in half and push into the cavity of the chicken.

* Step 3

Roast according to the weight of the chicken (usually 1.15hr to 1.40hr). Check the juices run clear and there is no pink flesh between the leg and the main body.

* Step 4

Serve with your choice of carb, I’ve made roasted bell peppers and rice to go with ours. Don't forget to squeeze the roasted lemon onto the chicken before you eat it :)
