Mango Shrikhand & Strawberry Shrikhand
Indian dessert prepared with hung curd

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
First boil half litre full fat milk for five min, when Luke warm set in to curd or use ready made curd. Keep it in refrigerator.it should not become sour.
* Step 2
Put curd into muslin cloth and hang it for 3 to 4 hours, (if weather is hot hang it on sieve in refrigerator.) When all water from curd drained our then it is ready to use.
* Step 3
Mix hung curd and sugar. Pass it through soup strainer. Then pass mango purée through the same strainer.
* Step 4
Mix lightly then add mango pieces, cardamom powder and saffron milk.
* Step 5
Decorate with mango pieces and pistachio slices. Mango shrikhand is ready. Keep it in refrigerator. Serve with Puri or as dessert.
* Step 6
For preparing strawberry shrikhand, use following steps.
* Step 7
First cook cut strawberry with two spoons of sugar and let it cool.
* Step 8
Hang curd for three hours all water should drain out as detailed in mango shrikhand steps.
* Step 9
Pass hung curd and sugar together through strainer.
* Step 10
Add cut sugary strawberries and mix lightly. Shrikhand is ready.
* Step 11
Keep it in refrigerator and serve with strawberry slices.
