Easy Crockpot Chicken and Dumplings
I made this for the first time for a fall festive camp out. Combination of foods at the fall themed potluck at Kearnes Campground was absolutely perfect including this one. Great time camping with friends that’s what this dish makes me think of now
Ingredient
Food ration :
6-10 servings
Cooking time :
4-6 hours
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Mix soups and seasonings and onion
* Step 2
Place some broth in the bottom of crockpot, add chicken breasts, add soup/ seasoning mixture then rest of broth
* Step 3
Cook on high for 4 hours. Remove chicken from crockpot and shred. Then add partially cooked/steamed veggies.
* Step 4
Roll up dough in small grape sized balls and drop in crockpot
* Step 5
Keep lid on for 1 hour and do not remove. Stir at end of hour and serve. If you like a hint of sweetness add a bit of sugar or agave syrup to taste
