Apple pie

Ingredient

1/4 cup

corn starch

1 tbsp

sugar

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Preheat oven to 400 degrees

* Step 2

Roll crust into pie pan

* Step 3

Combine sugar, cinnamon, and corn starch in a bowl

* Step 4

Add apples to sugar mixture and mix until apples are coated

* Step 5

Spoon apple filling into crust and sprinkle butter chunks on top

* Step 6

Cover with top pie crust and cut slits into the top or do a lattice pattern

* Step 7

Brush with egg wash

* Step 8

Place pie on center rack and bake for 20 minutes

* Step 9

After 20 minutes reduce heat to 350 and cook for another 30 minutes
