Ingredient

Food ration :

6 servings

Cooking time :

1 hour

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

cut each little spruce of the broccoli to make them about an inch in size. put to one side in another pan. I used about 3/4 of the broccoli.

* Step 2

peel off about half of the cabbage leaves, (dependant on how much cabbage you want) and remove spines of each leaf. put to one side in a pan, leave the leaves whole.

* Step 3

peel potato's around 10 of medium sized ones, and start to boil them in a big pan, you need quite a few as it will be 2 layers in your dish.

* Step 4

as the potato's are boiling, turn on the cabbage and broccoli DON'T BOIL YET. mash the potato's when they have boiled, add butter and milk to make it creamy. quickly boil the cabbage and broccoli, they dont want to be boiling too long.

* Step 5

drain the cabbage leaves and start to line your dish with them, and then make your first layer of mash ontop of it. drain the broccoli, dot the broccoli randomly ontop of the layer of mash and smooth it over. you can add some cheese now if you want, (just a thin layer) put your second layer on mash ontop and smooth it out.

* Step 6

preheat oven to 200 °c whilst doing this.

* Step 7

make sure your cheese is shredded for even application, can use strips if you want it to be extra thick. cover the whole thing in as much cheese as you want!! cook until golden ontop.
