Pears in Beaujolaise Wine

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Peel all the pears leaving the stem on top but take the bottom of the core off.
* Step 2
Pour a full bottle of Beaujolaise wine into a sauce pan and disolve the sugar in it.
* Step 3
Put in 4 cloves, 5 Pepper corns, orange zest, 2 star anise, cinnamon stick and then the pears into the wine.
* Step 4
Bring to boil, cover and simmer for 45 minutes. Turn the pears frequently to coat them in wine.
* Step 5
Cool down the pears and boil the liquids to thicken it. Cool down and strain the liquid to remove the solid parts. Poor the syrup over the pair and serve.
