More Healthy 'Cold Power' Morning Coffee with Chia Seeds

Still experimenting with how to make coffee healthier when there's a hole in the pocket (I refuse to say Njaanuary). So I had a huge stock of chia seeds and I decided to make a smoothy with the coffee grind I had left over and I also decided to relive my high school days by going 'cold power', brewing with cold water - I know, it's a miracle, let's leave it at that, haha!

Ingredient

Food ration :

1 serving

Cooking time :

Overnight
2 tablespoons

coffee grinds

4 tablespoons

chia seeds

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Soak the coffee grinds in the cold water overnight and filter in the morning.

* Step 2

Grind the chia seeds in the spice grinder.

* Step 3

Blend the coffee, chia seeds, and sugar to taste.

* Step 4

Enjoy your 'cold power' coffee-chia smoothy.
