Don't throw away your pineapple peels! Perfect pineapple essence for drinking and cooking!

* Step 1
Put your peels in the water until they are submerged.
* Step 2
Boil them for 30 minutes to an hour until all the essence transfers to the water. You can add water if it reduces too much.
* Step 3
Let it cool.
* Step 4
Filter out as much water as you can and discard the peels.
* Step 5
Mix the water with sugar for a perfect pineapple drink or use it to cook anything that requires pineapple essence. The peels from more tart pineapples will produce better juice.
