If you know me by now you know I have to go faaaar out with unconventional, and this recipe, well, it is paradise for sweet teeth! Nooo, it's not just about putting a lot of sugar - it's about flavouring up the sweetness so it's not a sickening sweetness. So I was trying to make jam with unripe papaya. It didn't really work out - but it turned into a VERY DELICIOUS syrup that I just had to try with different things! So I started with mandazi. And boy, I can't get enough of it! #wheatflour

Make dough with ingredients and deep fry as mandazi.

* Step 2

Also perfect with marmalade starter as substitute for syrup.
