Ingredient

Food ration :

8-10 jamun

Cooking time :

25-30 minutes
3/4 cup

milk powder

1/2 cup

maida

2 tbsp

ghee

As needed

as required

oil for frying

2 cup

sugar

2 cup

water

1/4 tsp

kesar

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a bowl take milk powder, maida and baking powder. Mix well. Now add ghee and mix to make the flour moist. Also add milk to make a dough.

* Step 2

Do not knead the dough. Cover and rest it for 10 minutes. Now prepare the sugar syrup using the above Ingredients.

* Step 3

Mix well and boil for 5 minutes to make the sugar syrup turns sticky. Turn off the flame and add 1 tsp lemon juice.

* Step 4

Use the dough and prepare small ball sized jamuns. Now deep fry the jamuns in medium flame oil and stir continuously.

* Step 5

Fry until the jamuns turn golden brown. Now transfer the jamun into a hot sugar syrup.

* Step 6

Cover and rest for 2 hours until jamuns absorb the sugar syrup.

* Step 7

You can enjoy jamun with ice cream (your choice)
