Cardamom tea (Elaichi chai)
Tea is not a beverage for we Indians it's the most important beverage...And if it's a flavoured chai...it makes us all the more taaza..fresh...
Of all flavours...the queen of spices CARDAMOM makes itself an important ingredient in chai...So CARDAMOM TEA ( ELAICHI CHAI ) IS STAR OF MANY OCCASIONS.

Ingredient

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Place a saucepan on flame, add water, sugar and tea leaves. Let it boil in slow flame.
* Step 2
Now take cardamoms and pound them in a motor pestle.
* Step 3
As the tea is boiling add the cardamoms and allow it to boil in slow flame so that it's flavour gets nicely combined with the tea. As you get that nice elaichiwala aroma, add milk.
* Step 4
Now let all get boiled together in slow flame. When you get that perfect colour of the tea. Switch the flame off.
* Step 5
Strain into a kettle. Transfer into cups and serve with biscuits/ khari..
