Dhokla is a Gujurati breakfast recipe and we all know that. Here, I have made dhokla and the main ingredient is urad dal batter. The Dhokla came out soft, spongy, and delicious.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Soak dal and methi seeds for 5 hours.
* Step 3
Mix rice powder and curd, whisk well.
* Step 4
Add turmeric powder,
black pepper, chili flakes, and salt. Whisk well again with no lumps.
* Step 5
Add soda and s few drops of water to activate soda. Transfer the batter to a greased container.
* Step 6
To the boiling water in a steamer keep a standard. Place the container with batter.
* Step 7
When cools down remove the urad dal dhokla from the container, cut it into pieces.
* Step 8
For tempering heat oil in a tadka pan. Add cumin and mustard seeds and allow them to crackle.
* Step 9
Add curry leaves, green chilies, hing, and sesame seeds. Cover the pan as sesame seeds will splutter.
* Step 10
Add water salt, sugar and allow to boil.
