Stir Fried Broccoli

Broccoli is a nutritional powerhouse full of vitamins, minerals, fiber and antioxidants. There are the many health benefits of broccoli. I love broccoli in any preparation. This simple stir fry preparation, I like most.

Ingredient

400 gram

broccoli

1 tsp

urad dal

1/3 tsp

cumin seeds

1 pinch

hing powder

3-4 drops

lemon juice

as per taste

Salt

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Wash the broccoli, separate the florels,chop finely the leafy parts. Take these in microwave safe bowl. Steam for 4 minutes and set aside.

* Step 2

Heat oil in a pan, temper with cumin and mustard seeds. Add chopped curry leaves,saute for 30 seconds.

Add onions, green chilli, red chilli and urad dal and hing. Saute on low heat till it's aromatic.

* Step 4

Now mix the blanched broccoli and salt and stir fry till it's dry. Switch off the flame and add the lemon juice. Mix well and now the delicious stir fried broccoli is ready to serve.
