Banana Flowers Stir Fry

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Clean, wash and finely chop the inner (heart) petals.
* Step 2
In a kadhai boil water. Add salt and turmeric powder. Add chopped banana flower heart and boil for 10 minutes.
* Step 3
Decant the boiled water from chopped banana heart
* Step 4
In a kadhai heat 2 tbsp oil. Add and allow to splutter mustard seeds. Add red chili, urad dal, chana dal and curry leaves. Fry on low flame.
* Step 5
Mix chopped onion, chopped green chili minced garlic and grated ginger and fry till onions are translucent.
* Step 6
Then add the boiled banana flower heart, chopped tomato and salt and coconut. Cover and cook until everything is well cooked. (nearly 10 to 12 minutes).
* Step 7
Banana flower dry curry is ready to serve. Enjoy with poori/steamed rice.
