Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Clean, wash and soak pulses and rice in warm water for 30 minutes.

* Step 2

Heat ghee in a pressure cooker. Add the ingredients upto bay leaf. Maintain the flame low not to burn the dry masala.

* Step 3

Now add the soaked pulses and rice and warm water till above one inch of the ingredients in the pressure cooker.

* Step 4

Pressure cook the sweet rice to two whistles. Let the pressure go off and open the cooker.

* Step 5

Garnish the sweet rice with cashew nuts, pista, and pomegranate seeds.
