Pooran Pori
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Boil the toor dal with 1cup water. It should not get smashed. Strain excess water.
* Step 2
Take a pan on low flame. Add ghee and boil dal. Saute it properly it should not burn.
* Step 3
Once the dal is roast properly add grated Jaggery to it. And mix properly.
* Step 4
Now add cardamom and nutmeg powder. Mix it well for 2 min more. Filling is ready take it out in a plate. Let it get cool.
* Step 5
Now take flour, add water and make smooth Dough. Keep a side for 10-15 min.
* Step 6
Once the filling is ready. Make equal parts.
* Step 7
Smooth the dough. Make equal balls out of dough.
* Step 8
Now take rolling- pin, roll the dough in small poori, place the filling balls.
* Step 9
Sealed the dough with filling.
* Step 10
Roll it again slowly. So the filling won't come out.
* Step 11
Now take a griddle(tava) on low flame. Roast the Pooran Pori on both the side. Once it is done. Take it on a plate and apply ghee on it
* Step 12
Served with Aloo Sukhi Bhaji And Kadhi. The Plating.
