Chicken Potpie
French inspired classic dinner. Flaky crust with thick chicken broth and vegetable filling. Its a complete meal......
Easy option is, you can make with ready made potpie crusts ,or else follow my 'from scratch Crust recipe' in the previous post of lemon tart.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Make pie crust as directed on the packet into two 9 inch pie plates.
* Step 2
Preheat oven to 425 deg F.
* Step 3
Put the frozen veggies in pan of boiling water until soften and keep them drained.
* Step 4
In another saucepan, heat some butter and saute the garlic and onions well with some salt,oregano and pepper.
* Step 5
Put all the veggies into this and saute well.
* Step 6
Now add the small chicken cubes and the flour and chicken broth.Stir continuously.
* Step 7
Add little milk/ heavy cream when it is mixed well.
* Step 8
Spoon this filling into the pie plate.
* Step 9
Cover with the second crust and seal the edges and poke some holes with a fork.
* Step 10
Decorate according to your taste.
* Step 11
Bake for 15 mins and then cover the crust edges with a foil paper to prevent excessive heating.
* Step 12
Then again bake for another 15 mins. Total 30 mins until the crust turns golden brown.
* Step 13
Serve hot sliced into wedges!!
