🐟 Miso poached Mackerel - Japanese - pressure cooker

One of the common everyday meals in Japan is this miso poached mackerel.

Ingredient

2 tbsp

soy sauce

1/3 cup

water

2 tbsp

sugar

1 tsp

vinegar

4 tbsp

miso

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Rubbing mackerel with salt and sake, and leave 10 min. It's an improtant process to take out some fishy smell.

* Step 2

Mix all the above seasonnings, other than miso.

* Step 3

Add chopped leeks in the pot. Wipe clean outside of the fish by kitchen paper and add to the pot.

* Step 4

High pressure for 8 min, then cool down by water quickly. Then, add miso in the pot directly and cook 2 min or so.
