Some folks wait till it gets cold weather to serve chili. Florida would never have any. Chili can be eaten anytime of year!!! This is a good meaty chili. If your a traditionalist substitute the beef for buffalo, and omit the beans.
Ingredient
3 pound
eye of round cubed
1 teaspoon
granulated garlic powder
15 ounces
diced tomatoes
24 ounces
Italian strained tomatoes
1 teaspoon
ground cumin
1 teaspoon
ground white pepper
1 tablespoons
salt
2 tablespoons
sugar
15 ounces
canned unsalted pinto beans
15 ounces
canned dark kidney beans
2 tablespoons
concentrated tomato paste
1/2 cup
chopped canned hatch peppers
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Cube the beef. Sear the beef, dice the onions and add the hatch peppers.
* Step 2
Add the rest of the ingredients. Simmer for 2 hours. Stir occasionally so it won't stick.
* Step 3
