Suji besan halva
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Dry roast the suji and besan till rawness is gone and typical aroma emanates.
* Step 2
Heat sugar along with 3 cups of water. Bring to a boil. Add 1/2cup of ghee and boil.
* Step 3
Add the suji besan mixture gradually into the syrup by lowering the flame and adding suji besan mixture in small portions.
* Step 4
Add the saffron strands too. Cook till water evaporates. Add remaining ghee. Cook till ghee blends well.
* Step 5
It can be offered as prasad. Serve warm.
