Achari Bhindi fry

All time favourite okra or bhindi is at least cooked 3 times in a week . It is a good option for kids lunch box as well. This is the easiest version cooked within minutes.

Ingredient

Food ration :

3 servings

Cooking time :

10 mins
1/2 teaspoon

Turmeric powder

1/2 teaspoon

Coriander powder

3 tablespoons

Oil

1/2 teaspoon

Jeera or cumin seeds

1/2 teaspoon

Mustard seeds

1/4 teaspoon

Asafoetida powder

1/2 teaspoon

Achari masala

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Heat oil in a pan

* Step 2

Add cumin seeds and mustard seeds.let them crackle.

* Step 3

Add asafoetida powder

* Step 4

Add onions and garlic. Saute till golden brown.

* Step 5

Add green chillies.

* Step 6

Add the turmeric powder.

* Step 7

Add chopped okra sprinkle salt and coriander powder and cook for a few mins. Check in between to avoid burning of veggies. Cook till tender.

* Step 8

Add when done add rhetoric Achari masala. Simmer for a minute.

* Step 9

Serve with parathas.
