Ingredient

2 tablespoons

cashew powder

1/4 cup

pure ghee

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

First, take a heavy based pan. Add ghee and heat on low flame.

* Step 2

Then add cardamom powder, coconut gratings and stir well. Cook on medium low flame for 10 minutes while stirring continuously.

When it turns aromatic, add condensed milk, cashew powder and keep stirring and cooking for next 10 minutes.

When the mixture starts leaving the base of the pan, add saffron, rose essence and switch off the heat. Mix well.

Grease a tray with ghee and pour the mixture into it. Spread well. Sprinkle dried rose petals on top and press well.(You can replace rose petals with chopped pistachios too.)

Cool it to room temperature. Then let it set for 2 to 3 hours in the fridge. Then cut into squares and serve! Enjoy Diwali! 🎇🪔
