Dhaba style Fried Rice

Fried rice is an essential part of Dhaba recipes. It tastes smoky, fragrant, and delicious when served hot with raita! Ingredient

6 cups

Water

As per taste

Salt and pepper

2 tablespoons

Ghee

1 tablespoon

Cumin

1-2 pinch

Sugar

1 tablespoon

Ghee to pour on top

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

First, wash and soak the rice for 1 hour. Then boil water with whole spices and salt. Add the rice and cook till just done

Then strain the water which you can use for soup, daal, binding dough, or curries.

* Step 3

Cover the rice and let it cool to room temperature. Then open the lid and fluff it with a spoon.

Heat ghee in a kadhai. Add cumin, and ginger garlic paste, and saute. Then add chilies and saute. Then add the cooked rice. Quickly stir fry well. Add salt, pepper, and a pich of sugar and mix well. Then mix in garam masala and lemon juice.

* Step 5

Give a good mix in just one direction. Pour more ghee on top. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Now Dhaba-style Fried rice is ready to enjoy!
