Cooking instructions
* Step 1
First, heat ghee in a deep and thick bottom kadhai. Then add the grated carrots, cardamom, nuts to it. Mix well and keep stirring continuously and cook on low flame for 10 minutes. Moisture starts drying and colour changes
* Step 2
Now add the milk, khoya or milk powder and mix well. Again cook while stirring time to time till all milk is absorbed, colour is dark, and mixture is aromatic.
* Step 3
Now add sugar, cook till sugar melts and caramelises. It will all turn to a lump. Mix 2 tablespoon extra milk powder, 1/2 tsp more cardamom powder, some more ghee, and switch off flame.
* Step 4
Grease a tray with ghee. Line with butter paper. Pour the mixture and spread well. Press with a flat spoon to even out the top. Sprinkle more nuts as garnish and press well on top.
* Step 5
Then make cuts of desired shape and refrigerate till set. Arrange on a serving tray, decorate with silver warq and enjoy !!
