Celebrate New year and harvest with delicious sevai kheer loaded with bits of fruits and dry fruits! Also it is a must have in the holy month of Ramadan! Very rich, satisfying and nourishing dessert!

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
First, heat 2 tablespoon ghee in a thick based deep kadhai.
* Step 2
Slow roast the sevai till golden. Then add cardamom powder, water and cook covered on slow heat till soft.
* Step 3
Then add badam drink mix and milk powder dissolved in 1 cup milk. Let it cook and absorb the liquid. Add more milk slowly till you get desired consistency.
* Step 4
Add sugar, saffron milk, malai and cook on slow heat till the kheer is thick and sugar has dissolved. Switch off, cool for 10 minutes on counter and stir in canned and sweetened pineapple pieces, dates, and ripe mango pieces. Add rose essence if you like too Cool to room temperature.
* Step 5
In another pan, heat rest of the ghee and add the dry nuts. Slow roast for 1 minute. Then add to the kheer.
* Step 6
Garnish with rose petals and serve chilled. Enjoy!
