#fest #navaratri #festival #Diwali #cookpadindia #laddoo #laddu #bhog Today being Navami , I have prepared these special besan, jaggery and ghee laddoos for bhog of maa Durga Usually we make besan laddoos with sugar, but I have made with jaggery as this combination is an auspicious one. They are easy to make and simply nutritious. Happy Navratri!

Ingredient

Food ration :

6 servings

Cooking time :

30 minutes.
1/2 cup

Ghee

2 tablespoons

Milk powder

2 tablespoons

Hot water

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

First heat 1 tablespoon ghee in a deep kadhai. Shallow fry the nuts till golden and keep aside.

In the same pan, add rest of the ghee and add besan on it. Shallow roast for 10 minutes till aromatic and golden brown.

* Step 3

Add milk powder and mix. Then sprinkle hot water and let the besan swell up. Cover and cook for 1 minute. Again stir and mix well.

Now add jaggery powder, cardamom powder and mix well. cook while stirring for 2 to 3 minutes.

* Step 5

Switch off flame and add the nuts. Keep mixing for another minute while the mix cools.

Apply ghee on palms and make medium sized laddus or mini laddus and keep in plate. Add melted ghee if needed.

* Step 7

Offer theses delicious sweets to Devi maa, share with family and enjoy!
