Flax seeds are great source of nutrition. They have protein, vitamins B complex, iron,folates,fibres, and build immunity. I have made whole wheat flax seed Tea cake which is packed with nutrition. Since flax seeds are egg substitute, this cake is Vegan too. Enjoy.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
First, soak flax seeds in warm water for 30 minutes. They will swell up. Then grind them to a paste.
* Step 2
Then grease and line a bread loaf tin and dust with flour. Preheat oven to 180°c for 10 minutes.
* Step 3
Then sieve all dry ingredients. In another bowl, combine flax seeds, jaggery or brown sugar, oil,

Now, slowly fold in dry ingredients spoon by spoon in wet mixture. Alternatively add spoonfulls of water so the mixture retains its consistency.
* Step 5
Add more water if needed to make a pouring consistency. Add lemon juice at last and fold gently.
* Step 6
Pour in tin and tap well. Bake at 180°c for 30 minutes or till a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
* Step 7
Remove and cool on kitchen counter covered with a towel. Slice when cooled and serve with tea! Enjoy healthy teatime cake.
