Chia seeds are considered superfoods as they have most of the important nutrients in them. There are numerous ways to include them in your diet. Its important to soak them or roast them before consumption as it helps in digestion. Try out this raitha made with chia seeds, curd , herbs and spices

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
First, rinse the chia seeds under tap on a strainer lined with muslin cloth. Then pat them dry.
* Step 2
Now add them to curd. Add salt, sugar, Chilli powder, turmeric powder, and stir well. Cover and soak this in refrigerator for 2 to 3 hours.
* Step 3
Now the mixture would have swelled up. If it appears thick, add some buttermilk. Then make a tadka for the raitha or Koshimbir in Marathi.
* Step 4
Heat ghee, pop up mustard and cumin. Add onion, chilies, hing, turmeric powder and saute' well.
* Step 5
Add to the raita and mix well. Then adjust the spices as per taste. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve delicious and healthy Chia seeds Raita with your favourite meal and enjoy!
