Kuskara in Marathi means crushed or crumbled food. The other names are Phodanichi Poli/ Kutke/ Poliche Pohe/or Poliche Tukde. It is made with leftover chapattis tempered with spices, chillies and onions. It is very easy and immensely delicious! My mom used to prepare always on weekends and extra chapattis were made a day before to prepare this dish.
Though it is from Maharashtra, its versions are prepared in many parts. Its a childhood favourite and still enjoyed at breakfast.
