Street Style Salted Peanuts Khari sing Khare Daane

raw peanuts

1 1/2 litre

water

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

First, keep water to boil in a steel pot. When it boils, add peanuts and boil for 10 minutes.

Then drain and spread on a thick Turkish towel for easy water absorption.

Keep for 30 minutes or till they are almost dry and slightly wet.

Then heat a deep kadhai or wok. Add salt. Then add the peanuts on top. Then roast them on medium flame while stirring continuously for 20 minutes till nuts are crisp and brown spots appear.

Then take off the flame and sieve off the salt. There should be no loose salt left.

Then fill in paper cones and serve warm to munch with tea and friends. Enjoy.
