Moong Dal Kachori with whole wheat flour

Kachauri is an ideal evening snacks recipe that can be relished with a cup of tea or coffee. It is mostly prepared with maida but to make it healthy I make it with whole wheat flour.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Wash and Soaked moong dal into water for 2-3 hours.then strain the water and Grind coarsely
* Step 2
Take coriander seeds,fennel seeds,cumin seeds,pepper corns and dry red Chillies together in a grinding jar and grind them coarsely.
Take wheat flour and refined flour in a mixing bowl add carom seeds,salt,ghee mix well.then add little by little water and crumbled with fingers and make a soft dough.cover and keep aside for 10-15 minutes.
* Step 3
Take a pan add 3 tsp oil when oil is heated add ground masala cook for 2 minutes keep stirring. Add gram flour mix well add grated ginger mix and cook on medium flame for 2 minutes
* Step 4
When besan turn aromatic add ground moong dal mix and stir continuously. Add all powder spices and salt. Mix and cook on low to medium flame add kauri methi and cook for 2 minutes when it becomes dry turn off the flame and transfer in a plate. Allow to cool it then make lemon size balls of it.
* Step 5
Take the dough again knead 2-3 times.divide the dough into 10-12 equal parts. Take one part roll it on your palm to give a round shape. Press in the middle to make a gap and put the filling in the middle.
* Step 6
Seal the edge and remove extra part. Use finger to press down the filling.prepare all kachauris. in a kadhai add oil.when oil is medium hot add some kachauris in the oil.fry the kachauris on low flame.
* Step 7
When they floating press with spoon to puff up.when they turn golden brown remove from oil and transfer in a plate. Fry all kachauris in batches.serve the kachauri with your favorite chutney.
