Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Wash and soak badmati rice for 30 minutes.

* Step 2

Boil rice 80% with mentioned ingredients.Drain and keep aside.

* Step 3

Heat oil in a pan/kadahi.Add whole spices.Add onion and fry till golden brown.

* Step 4

Add mutton.Saute for 2-3minutes.Add powdered spices,mix well.Saute 1 minute.Add curd.Cook for 2-3minutes.

* Step 5

Add 2 cups water,let it boil.Add salt.Cover and cook for 40 -45 minutes till mutton is soft.

* Step 6

Assembling of biryani:Take out mutton from pan.Add half of rice in the same kadahi.Add half of mutton.Put a layer of chopped coriander -mint and some fried onion.

* Step 7

Put another layer of rice.Repeat the process.Pour food colour and kewra water over.

* Step 8

Seal the vessel with alluminium foil,cover with lid and put on lowest flame for 10-15minutes.

* Step 9

After 15 minutes,serve the biryani with raita.Enjoy.
