Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Make a paste of red chilli powder,coriander powder and salt in oil.Marinate chicken in this paste.Add tanarind paste also.leave for one hour.
* Step 2
Heat ghee in a pan,add whole garam masala,add chopped onion and chopped green chillies.Fry till golden.Add ginger garlic paste,saute for 1 min.
* Step 3
Add marinated chicken,cook on high flame till water dries.Add 1 cup water.Cover and cook for 5-7 mins on medium flame.
* Step 4
Now add walnut paste,poppy seed paste and curd to the chicken,mix and cook for 1 min on medium flame.
* Step 5
Add 1/2cup water,cover and cook for 3-4minutes,till chicken is done.Add garam masala piwder.Mix and cook on low flame till ghee separates.Put off flame.Cover and leave for 5 minutes.
* Step 6
Chicken dilruba is ready to serve.Serve with naan/pulao.
