Ingredient

Food ration :

15 minutes.
1 tablespoon

khoya

1/2 cup

basmati rice

1/2 cup

sugar

1/2 teaspoon

kewra essence

1 tablespoon

cashewnut powder

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Wash and soak basmati rice in water for 30 minutes.

* Step 2

Drain and coarsely grind in a grinder.

* Step 3

Boil milk for 10 minutes. Add rice flour portion by portion and stir continuously to avoid lumping. Add all rice flour and cook for 2-3minutes on medium heat, stirring continuously.

* Step 4

Add khoya and cashew nut powder. Stir.

* Step 5

Add sugar and further cook for 5 minutes. Add half chopped dry fruits. Reserve half for garnishing.

* Step 6

At this stage, firni is somewhat this. Remove from stove cool for 5 minutes. Add kewra water and take out in serving dishes.

* Step 7

Serve.
