Ragi Idli / Finger millet Idli

#SIS #Ragi Idli #Finger millet Idli #cookpad Soft and fluffy Idli made with fermented Ragi flour /urad dal batter . It is very easy to make it . Ragi is one of the most nutritious and healthy cereals . Here l have shred Ragi idli recipe.

Ingredient

urad dal

as per requirement

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Add urad dal water in a bowl. Wash, drain and soak with water 1hour.

* Step 2

After 1hour, drain and add soaked urad dal into the blender with 1/4cup of water and blend it to smooth paste.

* Step 3

Next transfer into the bowl. Then add Ragi flour, salt and 1cup water and mix it well. Cover and keep it aside for fermentation for 8hours or overnight.

* Step 4

After fermentation you are ready to use.

* Step 5

When the batter is ready pour some water in your steamer. Bring it to boil.

* Step 6

Take the idli plate grease some oil it. And pour the batter in the moulds.

* Step 7

When the water to boil open the lid and place the Ragi idli plate in it.

* Step 8

Cover and steam for 10 minutes. Then switch off the flame and allow to cool.

* Step 9

Dip the edge of a spoon in water and remove the Ragi idli using it.

* Step 10

Serve Ragi idli hot with chutney sambar etc.
