Fresh Plum Chutney 🤤🍒

In every plum season my mother loves to have this chutney at least once. I used small sized plums which are cheaper than big ones. Also addded 1 tsp oil as a preservative. Very easy but finger licking recipe you can enjoy it as a jam with bread or buns. My younger sister loves to put it on the slice.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
In a pan add plums and water let it boil. Cover and cook for 5 to 8 minutes.
* Step 2
Remove from the heat and let them cool down. Mash with spoon and remove the seeds. Transfer to a blender.
* Step 3
Blend well and strain it properly. Discard the skin.
* Step 4
Pour this mixture in the same pan and cook on low flame. Add spices and food color
* Step 5
Stir in until thickens. Remove the skum. Add oil and cook for more 2 minutes.
* Step 6
Let it cool down completly. Enjoy. You can store in a airtight jar. Keepin the fridge for 2 to 3 weeks.
* Step 7
Spicy sweet tangy plum chutney is ready to be served.
