#jr3 This recipe originates in Gujurat. We Gujaratis can't complete a meal without something sweet . This is simple and made with easily available ingredients

Ingredient

Food ration :

1&1/2 hour
1 litre

milk

1/4 cup

sugar

1/2 cup

cooked rice

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Boil 1 litre milk on a medium flame till a boil comes. Add cooked rice Stir continuously so that it doesn't stick to sides Now mk the flame slow and allow the milk to thicken gradually

* Step 2

Add nutmeg powder,almond,pistachio powder and saffron strands

* Step 3

Add milkmaid. In this case less sugar will be needed. If you are not using milkmaid add all the sugar. The color will change

* Step 4

Keep on stirring on a low flame till you achieve the desired thickness

I added mango pulp after it cooled down for myself
