Chana / cholay is one of the most famous dish in Lahore.must try you will love it.....

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Wash soaked chickpeas thrice.

* Step 2

In a pot add chickpeas,onion sliced,tomatoes Sliced, ginger garlic paste and all the spices except salt and All spice's powder.

* Step 3

Add water about 4 to 5 cups Cook high flame. when it become boil.

* Step 4

Turn the flame very low and cover it and let it cook for 1 or 1½ hrs or until the chickpeas done (if you r using pressure cooker it will take just half an hour or less)

* Step 5

When chickpeas are done add oil, yoghurt and gram masla powder mix and bhoonofy it on high flame until oil separate.

* Step 6

Add 1 glass of water and bring it to boil. check the gravy you want and turn the stove off.

* Step 7

Garnish with green chilies and fresh coriander Serve with boiled rice or roti....
