Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Heat the pan and add ghee in it. When ghee is melted add semolina and roast it on low to medium flame. Take care of one thing that the color of semolina does not change. When the semolina gets roasted well, then add milk gradually to it and keep stirring well.

Now add soaked saffron milk in it and cooked it well on low flame. We have to cook it until it becomes like a dough.

Now put water and sugar in a heavy bottom pan and put it on the heat, now add few drops of orange food colour and cardamom powder and cook the syrup till it becomes slightly thick. Once it's done switch off the flame and cover it with lid and keep aside.

Now take small portion from the prepared dough and make a small lemon-shaped circle from it, now press it a little in the middle. Likewise prepare all the sweets.

Now keep the oil in a pan for heating, when the oil is hot then put the prepared sweets in it and fry it on a medium flame till it becomes golden. When all the sweets are fried then put it in the prepared sugar syrup and keep it covered for half an hour, so that the sweets absorb all the sugar syrup inside.

Your Suji Rasbhari is ready to eat. Garnish with some almonds and serve it. Enjoy!
