#goldenapron3 Today I have prepared a type of gujjia by using coconut stuffing. In Odisha we name this recipe as Kana Moda. This recipe is must try for all and amazing and crispy in taste.

Ingredient

Food ration :

Cooking time :

60 minutes
1/2 cup

semolina

1/4 cup

oil

1/2 tsp

salt

3 tbsp

sugar

2 tbsp

milk powder

As needed

Oil for frying

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a plate take maida, semolina, salt to taste,oil, mix like bread crumbs, then add little by little water to make normal atta dough (not very stiff). Cover and keep aside for 15 minutes.

For stuffing,Heat a kadai add grated coconut cook for 2 minutes then add sugar, milk powder, cardamom powder, black pepper, stir it continuously then add 1/2 cup of water and cover it cook in slow flame for about 15 minutes, stir it in intervals. When water is evaporated and light brown in colour, cool down and keep aside. Stuffing is ready for next step.

After 15 minutes divide the dough into equal portion, dust in flour and roll them out into 2 inch diameter flattened rotis. Place a portion of the stuffing in the hollow part. Apply a little water on the edges, close the mould and press firmly. Deep fry in the oil and place it on an absorbent tissue paper. Then it's ready to serve.
