Turmeric rice with carrots and butternut

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Saute the onions in a large saucepan
* Step 2
Add in the minced ginger garlic paste and turmeric paste
* Step 3
Add in the carrots and allow to cook
* Step 4
Add in the butternut and mix
* Step 5
Add in the seasonings and spices and mix
* Step 6
Add in the rice and give a good stir
* Step 7
Add in 4 cups cold water and let simmer till all water is absorbed
