Lemon and strawberry red cake
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Grease your baking tin and dust it with a little flour.
* Step 2
Pre heat your oven at 180 degrees celcius
* Step 3
In a large mixing bowl, Mix all the dry ingredients and pour in the oil then add in the eggs and the 1/2 cup milk to make a smooth batter. Add in the vanilla essence and mix lightly.
* Step 4
Divide the dough in two; one add in the strawberry red color
* Step 5
Pour the batter into the baking tin, tap from the bottom and bake for 40 - 45 minutes
* Step 6
Cream 1/2 cup soft butter with 2 cups icing sugar.
* Step 7
Beat 1 tsp. vanilla, 2 tbsp. milk and 1 cup Icing Sugar into mixture.
* Step 8
Gradually add 2 tbsp milk into icing until smooth and of desired spreading consistency.
* Step 9
Cream your cake to your liking
