Chicken pilau with coconut
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
In a big pot, heat oil on medium heat and fry the onions till they turn to golden brown
* Step 2
Add in the boiled chicken pieces until they start turning to golden color
* Step 3
Add garlic, ginger, and pilau masala. Keep stirring until the garlic is cooked.
* Step 4
Add rice. Stir until the translucent color of rice starts to turn white
* Step 5
In a separate bowl, mix the coconut with 1⁄2 cup of chicken broth.
* Step 6
Add the coconut mixture to the rice.
* Step 7
Cover the pot and turn heat to low. Adding chicken broth 1⁄2 cup at a time to the rice until it is cooked.
