Simple doughnuts

Ingredient

3/4 cup

warm milk

2 tbsp

dry yeast

2 tbsp

sugar

1 tbsp

butter

1/2 tsp

lemon rind

1 pinch

salt

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a mixing bowl, break and pour eggs then beat them well

* Step 2

Add luke warm milk and butter then whisk till the butter melts completely

* Step 3

Add yeast, salt,powdered sugar and lemon rind and juice and whisk well for 1 minute

* Step 4

Gradually add flour and make a stiff and smooth dough let rest for 15 to 20 minutes. the dough becomes soft.

* Step 5

Dust the rolling surface and roll out the dough to 1 cm thick

* Step 6

Cut dough into doughnuts

* Step 7

Heat oil in a pan enough for deep frying on moderate flame

* Step 8

Drop thedough into thefrying pan and let for a minute

* Step 9

When one side turns turn golden brown, flip the other side without to cook evenly.

* Step 10

When both sides turn golden brown, remove and allow the oil to drip then put in an underlined plate.

* Step 11

Place them on a paper plate
